Al Davis and the late season playoff busting Oakland Raiders strike again. This time making the GB Faithful upset. With the GB lose is looks to be a 3 dog race with the winner of N.O. and Tampa getting knocked from it and it would leave them vs the Rams to fight for the last playoff spot.

dolphins still have an outside shot at the playoffs .. currently at 7-7 and need to win out to finish 9-7 and get a shot
at the start of week 15, jets are 7-6 but will face eagles, chargers, bronocos. could finish at 9-7 pats are 9-5 but face broncos week 16 and dolphins week 17. could finish 9-7 jags are 9-5 but face steelers and titans .. could finish 9-7 chiefs are 7-7 and face raiders and lions .. could finish 9-7
if dolphins win out and jets, pats, jags, chiefs finsih 9-7 then the AFC playoff picture could be really messy and will be down to the tie breakers.

Even if you tie with me, division record puts you behind me... it also knocks you out of any 3+ team tie-breaker involving me or Jets.

if I win vs. you in week 17 then Jets, and Dolphins finish 3-3 in the division.
now if I win out (to finish 9-7) I finish with a 6-6 conference record and if jets lose to the chargers and broncos (to finish 9-7), then he ends with a 4-8 conference record .. so I get a chance because i tie jets on division record and will beat jets on conference record tie breakers.
jags have a really good conference record and chiefs are at 5-5 for the conference.
actually, I think that the Pats and Jags have clinched the wild card, even if you both lose out because of your conference records?

no jets are only 1 game behind if they beat eagles...and main has head to head tiebreaker over jags

right right, jets have -1 game played. as for chiefs/jags .. i believe that head to head tie breaker do not apply unless Main/Chiefs also beat the Bills (one team needs to sweep all other teams for head to head tie breaker involving 3 or more teams to apply.) in this case 1st tie break becomes conference record. actually to think of it, the jags are 7-3 in conference. if they lose out, they finish at 7-5. Chiefs can catch Jags by winning out and ending with a 7-5 conference record him self and the jags losing out. at that time tie break becomes common games. Jets can leap frog both Jags and Chiefs if he wins out and chiefs and jags lose both remaining games ... whatever this is too damn confusing .. where is joe and his standings/record/stats excel spreadsheet! either way, i'll just pretend that I have a chance to make playoffs just to have some motivation to beat Pats in week 17

I thought you already had 4 division losses... my bad. I think I'll have some dead time at work to nail down some more scenario's.

I just want to make the playoffs without the help of a tie-breaker so I can play in my own uniforms.

If I lose once I'm out. In a tie it comes down to head to head first (if its outside division) I hold head to head over Jags, Jets, and Chargers (because I will have better division record & a 1-1 record vs SD).
Basically I just need jag's to lose final 2, Jets to lose 1. Sounds like allot of help but its very realistic considering their remaining opponents (jags vs steelers, than titans) (jets vs chargers, than broncos)
I don't see myself losing either of my remaining 2 games vs lions (top qb and wr injured) and raiders (history between us should say it all)
