I like the rule we have in place as far as play 2 innings sit 1 game, and stuff. But I am beginning to realise a top notch team could put out a closer/setup/reliever in like 10 games in a row if hes on a roll, and he could be automatic cause of it. In real life you don't see relievers (exception maybe long relievers) go more than 3 games in a row ever. I think we should have a vote and add a rule saying no reliever can play more than 3 games in a row.

Fine by me, I agree with it. And Main it's usually the setup or closer if anyone who goes 3 games in a row, not the long reliever. A long reliever is used when the starter doesn't last very long, let's say 3-4 innings, and they need a reliever to eat up some innings to save the pen. He would pitch 3-4 innings maybe. He wouldn't have arm strength to come back the next day and do that again.

well if you want to really get techincal, most pitchers in the MLB dont pitch an inning either, they are strictly spot pitchers who pitch ONLY against lefties for maybe a 1/3 of an inning, so its tough, and yes, UNEEK is right, seteup man will pitch in every close game in the 8th inning, it's there job, much like a closer. Just sucks, cause we have closer games more often then the MLB, so puts a little more stress on our pitching.
