This game sucks see you in Madden 11
Marshall fumble and dumb passes by fitch, ie missing players and just bad passes, oline wont block nor will my fullback when i try to set him up he is 93ovr.
They don't fix momentum in Madden 11 I don't know how much i could stand to play it, ive been on both sides of the momentum and the shit is gay for both parties. Even when im up by 30 and the game gives me a stupid fumble i actually throw my controller in frustration for the other guy, game gives the other person a next to zero chance of coming back.
edit we cant forget about the Gorilla jumping LBs int passes intended for 10yards behind them that usually happens when the team has momentum also.
Rant Over

I can agree to the above statement, and, after this ridiculous loss to the Saints I am officially done with this game.
Rams 38 @ Saints 41
GW Field goal as time expired to send the Saints to the NFC Title game...
Story of the game... Rams got down early 14-0, then, the entire 1st half "mo" was dominated by the Saints. Seriously, you should have seen how slow Felix Jones and Bear Mason were running. Once I went down 14-0 they were running like they had concrete cleats on...
A 2nd half comeback was sparked by some improved defensive play as I was able to get 3 int. Some solid running by Mason helped bring me back as well. He had 2 TD on the day.
But, In the end, the Rams are sent home in the Divisional round for the 5th time in 6 years. Maybe coach CeeGee can get over the hump in Madden 11. Rumor has it that there are several teams interested in his services next season.

how is this a ridiculous loss to the saints? i was winning by 21 in the 3rd quarter but then you tied it up by throwing wheel routes and tossing left to mason. Not to mention 2 of the 3 ints was just henne overthrowing the reciever right to a defender

GG Man
Not ridiculous on your part. Just the fact that I could "feel" the game not allowing my players to perform up to their actual ratings thats all.
Not mad at you at all. That was a very good game.
As for the "toss" plays and the Wheel route, well, 1st off I have really toned down the amount of times I run any variation of a "toss"... FYI, there are several plays that a designed as "outside" runs that ARE NOT "toss" plays. So, it may look like a "toss" to the uneducated eye, however, in reality it is actually a "trap" a "power O" or "stretch"
As far as the "wheel route" well, if you didn't site in the exact same defense all game long, maybe I would run different routes. I don't call the same play every time on offense and you should not be able to do so on Def. Also, when you run the "wheel" route, I hardly ever call they play with that route in mind. I usually make an adjustment to the defense I see. Well, since I kept seeing the same defense, I kept exploiting it.
Regardless. of all that. GG Loc, GL in the NFC Title game. And GL In Madden 10.5...
As far as Madden 10 goes, this is CeeGee, signing off, see you all in August...

you beat me with the wheel route against: man cover 0, cover 2 zone, and cover 3 zone. Only reason that WR had nearly 200yds receiving. as for the "toss", I've been a run first, pass second player my entire life. I know what the difference between power-O, stretch, trap, and the toss is. gl in august. i'll be back with CJ

Niners beat the Cards...just a crazy game, first game was a wowzy! Up 3 getting bacll back with 3 mins, and then it was a disconnect during a penalty, we decided to replay from the start, and he kicked a FG in OT! Gl lockdown in the playoffs, represetn the NFC west baby!
