at the end of every season I like to take a look at the #'s, since we're a sim league, I like to see how we compare to the real life majors. With a ton of games played this year in the MLB, those are the stats that I compared with
MLB
2630 games
2571 home runs
0.977 avg HR/G[/b]
23477 hits
8.9 Hits/G[/b]
1611 stolen bases
547 xCaught Steeling
2158 steel attempts
0.82 SB att. per game
33.95% CS / 66.05% SB
VMLB
244 games
202 home runs
0.83 HR/G
2123 hits
8.7 Hits/G
297 stolen bases
83 xCaught Stealing
380 steel attempts
1.56 SB att. per game
27.9% CS / 72.1% SB
SIDE BY SIDE
MLB / VMLB
0.977 avg HR/G[/b] / 0.83 HR/G
8.9 Hits/G[/b] / 8.7 Hits/G
0.82 SB att. per game / 1.56 SB att. per game
33.95% CS / 66.05% SB / 27.9% CS / 72.1% SB

REVIEW
As you can see, our #'s look great, very comparable, there is only one thing that you can see is clearly off. We're stealing nearly double the amount of times the MLB is stealing. So, a new vote is put in place that could put this issue to rest. But I'm sure they'll be people on both sides of the fence.

besides that, we look great, and I'm extremely happy with how we've shaped up compared to the MLB
pitching #'s may be scewed, I didn't bother doing the research, if somebody else wants to, their more than welcome to. But for me, I feel the most important thing for the league is making sure our hitting/hr's are up to par with the majors, because pitching doesn't work 100% the same (you don't see 1/5th as many walks by pitchers in games, and pitchers don't seem to last as many pitches as they do in the majors BUT they do still seem to last the correct amount of innings because we are throwing way more strikes)
