With 3 clear AI flaws on the game, i've decided to put it up for vote on these issues to see if league wants rules in place so that nobody is taking advantage of these mistakes in the game.
these rules won't go in effect until season 3 althought you still have the personal option to choose what you want to do in each situation. I know I will choose the most sim thing to do everytime no matter how bad it may hurt me because of it.

what are the AI flaws: since I have not played this game in a long while: assuming bunting is one what are the others?

the rules up for vote are. curveballs in the dirt (when you take a check swing it still calls a strike), not getting cheap bases when running (on balls of the wall when outfielder cant pickup ball & when you hit the ball through the infield, the opposing player dives thinking he has an infielder, instead the outfielder dives, so the ball goes past him too), and rounding 3rd base on balls hit to an infielder [if you have a guy already on 2nd] (the 1st baseman doesn't throw a relay throw to home, so you can get cheap runs if you just round 3rd and run for home on groundballs on the infield)

Well if your going to do this, a ball/strike rule must be put into place. To become SIM, we must get peopel to realise that pitchers dont' throw balls to get ahead in the count. They throw strikes, and fastballs for strikes. It seems a majority of owners (There is no rule so its not a bad thing) like to throw all offspeed and a fastball for a ball. IF we want to become sim, since people seem to think throwing ALL balls is sim, we should move to force them to do it. I know some of you guys throw alot of strikes, and thats great, granted you give up a few more hits and maybe runs, but its alot more realistic. I know sometimes you miss the corners, and thats fine, but most of you know what I am talking about. I think that is the biggest "SIM" problem we have right now.

Here is my take:
curveballs in the dirt (when you take a check swing it still calls a strike)
----Not a good idea. For some pitchers not even moving the analog stick will throw the curveball into the dirt around 30% of the time. If we have a rule not allowing that, you almost never can throw the curve without fearing being called a cheater.
not getting cheap bases when running (on balls of the wall when outfielder cant pickup ball & when you hit the ball through the infield, the opposing player dives thinking he has an infielder, instead the outfielder dives, so the ball goes past him too)
---------I agree with this rule. It is a common courtesy rule. You just have to be careful because sometimes the ball is going to be in the gap anyways and a person mistakingly dives. The person should still get their double b/c it was going to be a gaper.
and rounding 3rd base on balls hit to an infielder [if you have a guy already on 2nd] (the 1st baseman doesn't throw a relay throw to home, so you can get cheap runs if you just round 3rd and run for home on groundballs on the infield)
-------I agree but sometimes people will knock down a ball in the hole which almost/should have been a single. If this is the case, I think the person should be allowed to try and score the run because the extra effort infielder dive to prevent the single was a risk/reward play.
Strike Rule
----- I disagree. Any shape or form of any kind of strike rule RUINS leagues and is a source of great angst and dissagreement. I have been in leagues with different forms of strike rules and they all go down the gutter. People argue over balls and strikes, accuse each other of not pitching enough strikes, and they are just generally no fun at all because you cant be at ease ever.
If you are unhappy with the way somebody throws you lots of balls to start each batter, take the balls. Believe me, they will start throwing strikes when you dont swing at the balls. Also, if they arent using their fastballs for strikes, the confidence in the pitch will go down and they wont even be able to throw it anymore pretty soon. You have to get strikes with the pitch to have confidence in it.
