online leagues are not only in for next year, but they'll be set up online, for trades as well. This is extremely exciting, we won't have to use lockers, commish's won't have to do rediculous amount of works to progress the season forward at the end of each week. It says there is a flex schedule, but the VNFL would merely use this to allow owners to play ahead, or catchup due to vacationing. We may consider allowing 2 games a week; but we have to stay at an even amount to allow trades at the end of each week.
The only other hope I have now is they allow for less than 32 teams in the league, and allow you to choose the amount of games. No big deal, but its good to have so we don't have to allow a bunch of crumbum players into the league just to get started, thats how things fall apart.
the fantasy draft is going to be greatly considered, we'll have to discuss with all the members of the VNFL if we want this or not. It sounds great in theory, but allot of players want original teams (including myself, i think, but I'm open to trying it as well). If we did have the draft, we'd do it via aim, and than I'd have everyone set up their picks in the order they actually made them, for the profile draft. Having the draft on AIM just makes things a bit more exciting, at least for the first so many rounds. But this is all to be discussed and decided by the majority of the league.
Either way, so many great options now with this, I can't wait to get madden, this is the first time I can every say I'm actually excited for the game. In the past, yes I look forward to it, but now I'm actually excited because of the online leagues feature and can't wait to get my hands on it.
Virtual National Football League will soon be alive and thriving
