Troy Glaus (3B, Cardinals) .341 15 Hits 10 Runs 10 RBIs 5 HRs
Reasons -
Jason Giambi delivered for the Yankees in what should of been one of the most high powered offenses in the league, he came through batting nearly .500, taking the AL Crown in BA, HR, and Hits. He was second in the MLB behind Holliday in both BA, and Hits, and 2nd behind Howard in HRs.
Matt Holiday had a record breaking year, batting .588 with 30 hits, leading both the NL and the AL, he topped that with 5 Hrs, and seemed to put contact on everything with only 4 Ks in 51Ab. He was no doubt a run away for the MVP this year, in what might be a few records that are never broken per AB, not to mention avg.
I had some fun with this. Enjoy;)!
