IF YOU ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS PLEASE READ & MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING THAT I'VE SAID IN THIS POST, IT IS VITAL TO MAKING SURE THINGS ARE DONE RIGHT
FIRST OFF: everyone in the playoffs with the exception of Los Angeles Angels must read this thread:

Check out the tournament bracket that is up on the leagues homepage

All star teams, MVP & cy young candidates to be named in the next coming days
Here is all the info you playoff teams need to know:
- To start the playoffs, you get a fresh start (meaning if you haven't rested players or pitchers toward the end of the season, it holds no impact on the playoffs, its a brand new fresh start)
- DON'T FORGET ABOUT THIS RULE FOR RESTING PITCHERS - You can take 1 game off the resting rule for pitchers if it is taking place between 2 playoff series' (ex: Reliever Joba Chamberlain pitched 4 innings in the final game of a playoff series. He only has to rest for the 1st game of the next round, normally he would have to rest 2 games for pitching 3 innings or more)
- So basically whomever you start in game 1 of your first series, you'll be able to start in game 2 of your 2nd series, the break between the 2 series' is basically considered a game off.
- You do not have to rest your players ever in the playoffs, put the lineup you must feel comfortable with all playoffs long
- SERIES DEADLINES:
round 1 [best of 3] - Thursday, April 24th, 11pm eastern
round 2 [best of 3] (DIVISION FINALS) - Sunday, April 27th, 11pm eastern
round 3 [best of 3] (WORLD SERIES) - Sunday, May 4th, 11pm eastern
- The reason for the short period for the first 2 rounds is because our season only took 1 month, it just wouldn't make sense to take 3 weeks to run playoffs, and didn't make sense to only allow 4 total teams to make the playoffs. So it'll be alittle rushed, but we'll get to season 2 quick & people won't be bored to long waiting for this to end
also, for those unaware, your AL leader, the Indians ace went down with an injury in game 11 vs the yankees. To check out his injury, and how long they'll be missing their top guy go here:
