VMLB just like MLB will have playoff tiebreakers run the exact same way. I just looked up today the exact rules on this. Here they are:
TWO-WAY TIE Whether for a division or a wild-card spot, the teams would stage a one-game playoff on Monday, with the site already determined by a coin flip.
THREE-WAY TIE The rule they have is in place when 2 teams are from same division & 1 from another division. That won't work for our league. So for the VMLB In the event of a 3 way tie 2 teams will face off in a wildcard game. The 2 teams that are chosen will be determined by: A) if teams have faced eachother an even amount of times, the top 2 teams winning percentage in those games vs eachother gets in. If still a tie between #2 & 3 B) The team who has won the most games against eachother in the season series moves on. If still tied. C) The team with the best winning percentage in their division gets the spot (they must have an equal amount of games played in the division though for this to be used as an option) D) The team with the best +/- in runs for / against total on the season gets the spot (example Toronto has 100 runs for & 60 runs against. They are a +40)

just reading theres no info on a 3 way tie that is vying for 2 spots which could be the situation in the AL this year. in that situation it goes to the 3 way tie, except the TOP team based on those rules gets a spot, and the remaining 2 teams will play for the final spot
