As some of you know I am laptop less at the moment, mine is getting fixed so I stole my brothers...I'm snowed in, work got cancelled and school is finished so I hope to bring these back atleast one a week(every 7 days not V-world week) With that said here are Nikos Power Rankings for 2011?
The Fantastic Four!
#1) Tennesee Titans 3-0 first time Tennesee has ever made #1 on NPR(niko's power rankings) They earned with a decisive win over former Super Bowl Champ Jets, and then two more wins over the Jags and Colts. Chris Johnson stated earlier this season he will be this years VNFL MVP, and boy is he doing work.
#2) Arizona Cardinals 3-0- wins over Pittsburgh and St. Louis gave this team the #2 spot in NPR this early in the season, and then they squeeked by Seattle, but good teams find good ways to win, and it looks like trading warner has helped both teams 1 and 2
#3) Denver Broncos- 2-0- Dominating win over the Miami Dolphins who made the playoffs last year, and then another win over Chicago, It looks like even with Champ and Knowsean being traded, the Broncos are still one of the top teams in VNFL, but there is still speculation that D.J Williams is on the juice, so if this is true expect a suspensin to be handed out soon.
#4)Caroline Panthers 2-0- Wins over Tampa and Philly, and a start to 3-0 season is just a win over Tampa again, as they would love to head into their bye week 3-0 as they would play the Saints well rested at home after the bye..Expect this team to compete again and possibly reach a 3rd Super Bowl in a row.
Almost Fantastic
#5) New England Patriots- 2-1 two decisive victories over the Raiders and Dolphins but a haert breaking loss to the steelers, this team is loaded with so much talent and speed that it will be hard for anyone to beat, the defending Super Bowl Champs are vowing for a repeat.
#6)New York Jets- 2-1- After a heartbreaking opening loss to the Titans, the Jets showed they are still for real after going into Dallas and earning the W, and then going into Buffalo and pulled one out from a grinding game.
#7)Atlanta Falcons- 2-0 the surprise of this season, after just two years ago this team was 2-14 they are now already off to w 2-0 start and look too keep the pressure on as they have a real possobility of winning 6 or 7 before facing defeat.
#8) Baltimore Ravens- 2-0 Two easy victories for the Ravens as Keller has been killing it, face a very dangerous Sanfrancisco team coming up in week 3.
#9) San Francisco- 2-0- two wins over the Vikings and Seahawks, now they will face their biggest competition of the season in week three vs the #8 team on NPR
#10)Pittsburgh Steelers-2-1( Huge win over the New England Patriots as Troy Polamalu continues to show why he is on the madden cover.
Good or bad?
#11) Buffalo Bills- 2-1- Team has been all defense so far this season, but Jets definately showed its flaws on offense, as this team needs to find a way to get the ball down the field faster.
#12) St. Louis Rams- 1-1-cant ever count this team out, as what seems to be one of the toughest divisions in the VNFL it has 4 teams that could all fight for a playoff spot.
#13)New York Giants 3-0- but are yet to play one of the upper echelon teams in the VNFL, when they face the AFC EAST then we will get a better prospective of what to expect from this team come December.
#14)Philadelphia Eagles- 1-1) Team was in Last years NFC championship game, and the NFC East is its to lose, expect big things from this team as the season progresses.
#15) Jacksonville Jaguars- 2-1) huge win over the saints as this team improves to 2-1, I dont think this team is quite ready to Dethrown the Titans as AFC South Kings, but as the weeks progrses they get better and better.
#16) Chicago Bears-1-1) tough loss to the Broncos, but key opening win over divisonal foe Detroit Lions, the Bears look to win the NFC north once again this year.
#17)Cincinatti Bengals 1-1) No longer the Bungles. They are For real
#18) San Diego Chargers 2-1) Looked sloppy in the first game vs the Bills, but 2 huge wins back to back seem to have righted the ship for the Bolts.
#19) New Orleans Saints 1-2) Team Owner Inforcer talks alot of trash.........time to back it up
#20) Green Bay Packers)1-1 with a win that we dont know if it should of been a win, then a loss that we dont know if it should of been a loss as it played with a suspended player, we will learn more about this team as the time passes.
#21) Cleveland Browns- I can hear the dog pound chanting for the next 5 years Ace and Scooter, Ace and Scooter...team has done a good job of rebuilding as it looks to continue to compete.
Can Still turn it around
#22) Detroit Lions 1-1) only win was over a team without a QB due to suspension, beat the Broncos this week and this team is for real, as Champ looks to go back into Denver and curse his old team out.
#23) Miami Dolphins 0-2 but two very tough losses, definately have time to turn it around and reach the playoffs.
#24) Kansa City Chiefs) fluke loss to start the season, then a tough loss without one of its best offensive weapons and then a heartbreaking loss to the chargers, this team needs to go on a 5 game winining streak soon.
#25) Washington Redskins- NFC East has some good opponent but of all the winless teams so far the NFC east might be the easiest to play catch up as long as they can knock off Eagles.
#26)Tamp Bay Buccanners- Give the ball to Felix, you tradedyour best reciever for him, now let him run wild.
#27) Seattle Seahawks- 0-3 to start but went 8-8 last season and this team shows it can play, as it took cards to the wire, Expect some mid season revival from this team.
#28)Minnesota Vikings-0-2) Peterson needs to take over asap for this team to have a shot.
#29)Dallas Cowboys- 0-3) tough losses to the Giants to start the season, but stil have time if they can get W's from the skins and the Eagles.
#30)Indianapolis Colts-0-3) Peyton isnt getting any younger, expect for this team to go into rebuilding mode soon.
#31) Houston Texans 0-2) dissapointing start to this season as this team had promise to contend, but its still early.
#32) Oakland Raiders 0-2) I feel this team will turn it around shortly, hes starting to slowly put the pieces together to fix the roster.
