Couldn't pit win his division and u still beat ravens in tiebreaker? That would mean I only need dolphins to lose two or pit to lose 1

Pitt cannot be 11-5 and tied for a wildcard spot, 11-5 puts them as the division winner. If that is the case, and there is a 3-way tie between Miami or New England/KC/Baltimore... then yes, Baltimore would be the odd team out because of 5 conference losses. And the resulting 2-way tie between KC and Mia/NE wouldn't really matter because it would be the difference between being the 5th and 6th seed.
I only took into account 2-way ties when I did my scenario's, but I think if I am looking at this right, you really don't have a horse in that AFC North race at this point, and you might be right in only needing 2 Mia losses or 1 NE loss.

who is making the final decision on tie breakers? i.e. who is going to determine the final rankings and then who will verify that the tie-breakers were applied properly?

Well you can put one in the loss column for the Steelers and tell Seatle golf season is opening up early.

Miami - Control their own destiny. 2 wins gets them in because Ravens either win the division with 2 wins, or fall to 11-5 and lose the division and a tie-break to the Phins. actually if Fins finish 11-5 and Ravens somehow lose the division to Steelers and finish 11-5 .. then Ravens win tie breaker over Fins because he won head to head

I think that is where I was going with it, at least I can claim that now. But by control your own destiny I mean you win and you're in.

I think that is where I was going with it, at least I can claim that now.. yes you are correct. they can't lose the division at 11-5. But Ravens can lose the division at 10-6. if Ravens lose in week 16 then the AFC north is decided in week 17. If ravens lose in week 16, and lose again in week 17, then the Ravens drop to 10-6 and steelers pull even at 10-6. Steelers beat Ravens twice this year, giving the Steelers the division title. If thats the case, and the Dolphins lose both remaining games, the tie break goes to Ravens (vs. Fins) this is getting too complicated .. a lot of this speculation can be fixed after my game tomorrow morning and whenever Ravens play (GO RAVENS!!) but yea you're right, I control my own playoff hopes .. just need to win 1 of 2!
