The Carolina Panthers suffered a serious blow to their Super Bowl dreams Monday when it was announced that star running back DeAngelo Williams will miss nine weeks with a partial tear in his PCL.
The announcement was made after Carolina was awarded a sim-win over the Buccs after their game was disconnected late in the fourth quarter with the Panthers in complete control for most of the game.
"Obviously this is a huge blow to our team," said Coach Morbid after the Panthers announced Williams' injury. "You can't replace a player like him. We've always been a running team, so this will change our offense tremendously."
The injury confirms what some league insiders thought was a risky decision to trade away running back Jonathan Stewart in the offseason for Donovan McNabb, but McNabb see's it a different way;
"This is what the team brought me here for," McNabb said when reached on Monday night. "Carolina brought me here to win games, and this is my chance to show the people out there that I can still win."
"Anything less than a Super Bowl win is unacceptable."

Morbid I turned injuries off, I know for a fact I did, I don't understand how this happened, but this is BS and I'm sorry and good luck rest of the way
