Here is a basic plan that you can expect to be set in stone for the league:
more to come soon
- League will consist of anywhere from 6-16 players in season 1
- We will expand every season
- We will have a team draft lottery. (I will pull each owners name out of a hat to decide what position they will pick their team from. Than we'll go in order & pick our teams)
- Team draft lottery will be done by me on sunday, so our owners will be set in stone for sunday before I do the draft lottery.
- We will start with a short season so we can learn, change, and get used to settings and the way things will work. Than the season lengths will get bigger until we hit a point that we want to stay at
- Everyone will have a pitching rotation
- When changing pitchers you must replace a starter with a reliever unless the change is in the first 3 innings
- There will be a resting period for pitchers & players that must be followed (starting pitchers must rest a minimum of 3 games | relievers 1 game for 2 innings pitched or less, 2 games for 3 innings pitched or more | Closer & setup man 1 game if pitched 2 innings, 2 games if pitched 3 innings | Players Can only play 7 straight games max / this is for games started, subbing in during 7th, 8th, or 9th inning doesn't count as a game played [starting DH counts as a game played])
- Players can only play positions that they've played in the past. If your not sure you must look it up to find out what positions they can play. If you play somebody out of position and have no proof they can play there you will be penalized. However if you must sub somebody out and don't have a replacement speak to a commish and we will make an allowance.
- Difficulty - Hall of fame / Guess pitch - ON / Hot zones - ON / Fast play - optional / 9 innings / ranked
- Only allowed 1 bunt per game - Its been found there are some glitches when bunts occur & the defense doesn't react realistically.
- The pitcher must wait a couple seconds between pitches to give batter chance to guess pitch
- The person guessing pitch can only hit R2 once & for a short period of time, once you release it, no hitting it again. (The reason for this is because it messed up the pitcher as they may lose site of their ball marker and not know where their pitch is going anymore. So they can wait for you to guess pitch, than they can choose the pitch and not have any issues)
- NO PAUSING MID PLAY. Only allowed between plays
- Discipline will be player suspensions & eventual removal from league
