Post your campaing's for League MVP here. Mine is C.J. 46. He has went to the VNFLPA and decided to change his number from 28 to 46 so when people here his Highlight package it sounds something like so. C.J. for 6. Have fun with it, I think CeeGee will come up with the best one.

Making a pitch for MVP in week 1, haha. I'm really not interested in even winning MVP, let alone predicting which of my players would be in the running after 1 game... I'm more interested in not finishing below .500 this season and if one of my guys deserves it at the end, good for him. But, if I were to make a case for someone on my team, with a catch phrase or something.
LeRon James - "King" James, LJ23, could basically rip any LeBron advertisement or logo. He had a pretty good week 1 too, 157 yards and 5 TDs.

Its funny how one bad year by Tom and suddenly he's a bad QB and your not focused on stats. Your all about the winning. Go feed that to the guy in Montana selling you ocean front property on his block.

Its funny how one bad year by Tom and suddenly he's a bad QB and your not focused on stats. Your all about the winning. Go feed that to the guy in Montana selling you ocean front property on his block. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE looking at stats, which is why I have the excel thing. And it helps me kill some time here and there. But I never play to attain certain stats, and I never run up the score. I am all about the winning, I love to win... sometimes I need to run to win, sometimes I need to pass to win, sometimes I need to sit back and play tough D to win (which I'm not very good at). All I'm saying is, I'm not going to start a season thinking "this guy on my team is going to win MVP"... because that leads to a different style of play, forcing offensive playcalls for that player or whatnot. Like Herm Edwards says "You play to win the game", I don't want to lose focus on that by playing to get one of my guys the MVP award. Team success will lend it self to individual success.

Prince Justin an MVP candidate last year is not off to a great start but he is our team leader in ints every year and top 2 or 3 in tackles. He wears the #30 as a reminder of the 29 teams that passed him up in the draft. An expected top 10 pick drafted #30 is dedicating his career to proving those who passed on him they made a big mistake and so far he's been quite succesful
