The eyes of the baseball world were focused on the South Side of Chicago, waiting to see if Ken Griffey would approve his trade from the Reds to the White Sox. Meanwhile, the teams play this week in VMLB.
An anonymous Sox fan was asked about the deal. "A great trade.... in 2003."

Haha, I wish they could...I wish they could! They finaly started spending money, but they keep doing it on NEVERWAS, damn them!

When they do spend money it's on guys who haven't proven themselves or had one crazy year and that's it (Adrian Beltre).. or guys who are past their prime (Sexson). Every move for the Mariners doesn't pay off..

Yeah, Sexon really never had a prime, hahaha. Beltre just didn't pan out, I didn't think it was that bad at the time, just overpaid! They need to just figure it out, there pitching staff is ugly, besides Bedard and the King, they have nobody else, there bullpen is spoty at best. They did address that in the offseason though drafting the best closer in college baseball.
